Each and every single one of them must have massive boost leaks, or they turned off their turbo's via dashboard switch.
I know my S couldn't keep up with my stock STi. I don't even want to know when it was stage 2. I don't know where some of you are finding these races with STis, but these must be some of the most horrible running STis on the planet. I have owned both an S2000 and a STi, love them both, but under no circumstances should S2000 be beating STi in a straight line unless the S is FI.

i had an 07 sti b4 my 05 s2000 and there is no way my s2000 is faster than my sti.my sti- cai, catless dp, exhaust, fp, ap v2, protuned (310awhp, 348awhp on dynojet)
my s2k- j's header, j's 70rr (241rwhp, 172wrtq on dynopack)
even with my j's intake and tuned added now still NO chance at my stg 2 sti.
an s2000 in n/a form is playing a very hard uphill battle against the Evo/STi/other factory turbocharged cars with an engine/turbo combo worth crap
but once the FC2x is force inducted then it comes who has a deeper pocket
