Exactly. Apparently every STi with an audible "exhaust" in this section of the forum has been destroyed by S2000's.

Each and every single one of them must have massive boost leaks, or they turned off their turbo's via dashboard switch.

 

I know my S couldn't keep up with my stock STi. I don't even want to know when it was stage 2. I don't know where some of you are finding these races with STis, but these must be some of the most horrible running STis on the planet. I have owned both an S2000 and a STi, love them both, but under no circumstances should S2000 be beating STi in a straight line unless the S is FI.

 

S2k's boosted are no joke, but a stock s2k beating an sti stage 2 or evo is just

 

I agree, I get walked on by my friends 06 Stage 2 WRX (non STi) so i would naturally STi would pull even harder, that was when i just had full bolt ons though, I raced what I believe was a stage 2 STi a couple weeks ago and he walked me by a length or two after I got my 4.77s put on

^^ That's an SC s2k though...and what mods did the STi have?

 

STI had 20g turbo, intake, exhaust, wastegate and conservative tune.

 

i had an 07 sti b4 my 05 s2000 and there is no way my s2000 is faster than my sti.

my sti- cai, catless dp, exhaust, fp, ap v2, protuned (310awhp, 348awhp on dynojet)

my s2k- j's header, j's 70rr (241rwhp, 172wrtq on dynopack)

even with my j's intake and tuned added now still NO chance at my stg 2 sti.

 

an s2000 in n/a form is playing a very hard uphill battle against the Evo/STi/other factory turbocharged cars with an engine/turbo combo worth crap

but once the FC2x is force inducted then it comes who has a deeper pocket
