AP1 vs. Sti on freeway
an sti can easily read 300 whp no problem. correct me if im wrong but downpipe and stage 2 could get 50 hp? check the cobb website they show graphs. www.cobbtuning.com
Sti's are badass... But yes I pulled an Sti from 2nd gear all the way to 6th... All im running is intake, header, exhaust all made my Mugen and a vafc2...
Im getting my car back tomorrow and I just put in the f22 block and act clutch...

What did I expect from an S2K worship site? Nothing but stupidity.
I wish you guys were closer, I'd re-flash the stock map (leaving only my catted down-pipe as a mod) and own all your asses.

I have a well tuned Stage 2 STi and I actually played with a S2000 with a VAFC, intake, exhaust, headers and a tune last night and I pulled on it by 2 cars from 50mph-120mph.... he was in third the first run and then used 2nd gear on the second race in which I pulled 2 and half cars on him.
He says he traps at 105-106 mph at the track. So I guess my car is trapping in the 108-109mph range? I don't know.. but I wasn't too impressed I raced a Stage 2 Cobalt SS with upgraded pulley, injectors, STage 2 reflash, and custom made CAI and he kept up with me a lot better then the S2000.
I think a well tuned S2000 with bolt ons and a tune is still not good enough against a well tuned STi. We just have more torque and power that helps us in the end. I am impressed though with how well a naturally aspirated S2000 can do with no turbos or superchargers.
