Back on topic with the first post, I ran a bone stock AP1 with 4.77's when I first got my car and it was stock (05 AP2) and I obliterated the guy, but he didn't know what he was doing amd repeatedly started in the wrong gears..
I like to see you "obliterate" my AP1....

i ran a stock ap1 when i only had the k&n intake and beat him by 2 car lenghts by about 100mph....pretty much pulled on it instantly and kept pulling...this was from a 40 roll and it prob would have been even more in the winter or stock intake considering the k&n heat soaks like a mofo...

you'd be surprised the difference a 150lb passenger can make at lower speeds, I'd have so say most of the people on here can agree with me on that

modified bolt ons on an AP1 doesn't even reach stock AP2 whp dyno proven so off the bat... you already throw down more HP to the wheels than him... its just a straight line race, its all about who puts down the most to the street and who doesn't screw up their shifts...

UH, not really kid, you don't know much about your own car.

every year s2000 is almost equally fast in a straight line (from a roll).
From a dig, there has been 00's that hit 13.6x and 09's that hit 13.6x.

Neither car is faster.
yeah the ap2 is proven faster. It puyts down more whp and has more torque and better tranny. They trap higher speeds in the 1/4 mile as well. There is freak ap1 that run 13s but most run 14s, ap2 are way more consitant with running lower times.

a 00-01 dynos less than a 02-03.
a 04-05 dynos less than a 06+.
but they also got heavier as the years went by.

a stock 00 should weigh about 2720~ lbs and a 09+ 2800+ lbs.
