Coming from a owner who owned a 12.2 1/4 95 SOHC turbo neon (aka for some of you "skittle") before and while I owned my s2k (aka for some of you "HoDUH w/no torque") and being a proud member of neons.org as well as s2ki annoys me to no end after seeing fellow members on this site leave those kind of remarks.

Yes everyone likes different things and what one person like others may not but for christ sake respect what the fun factors that different cars bring regardless of make and model. I have friends who made jokes about my neon as well as my s2000 but I could care less since I'm enjoying them. Same goes when I pick up my 300c as a daily in year cause I guarantee people will find some way to bitch why I should have picked up a BMW (not a big fan but my girl has one and it is a nice car) and why am I driving an old person's car.

At the end of the day you are always going to have the people who think their brands are superior to everyone else in everyway. My personal opinion the only Honda I would be caught in is the s2000 hence why I bought it over the Z. Never quite understand why everyone loves those si's but again my opinion differs from everyone else especially when it comes to the mugen version. Basically it's not hard to just respect and if you don't like said car here

 

I clown all over the SRT-4s. Yeah, it's fast and can be made faster real easy but it is still a Neon. All the stock ones I have run never caused me any problems. If you want fast and cheap I guess the Neon is okay but what kind of clown only wants fast and cheap.

I bought my S2k knowing it wasn't the fastest car for the $ but I do think it is one of the best all-around performers for the $ though, especially when you take into consideration that the car was built from the ground up as a sports car. It

I can't believe this thread is still going. Anyway, just got back from my first road course day. It was awesome running with all brands and models of cars.

 

Some of you are rediculous. Who cares if its a dodge or a neon. Its a great car to build up nontheless. I built up my 05 srt to 500hp but I grew out of the "speed" factor so I picked up the s. But by no means will I sit here and bash something that the majority of you here have no idea about. So many "brand" jackasses it makes me sick. I had one goal in mind when I purchased my srt.....speed. I loved straight line acceleration. But I wanted something different after a while and I sold it. Heres a few of my vids from my srt. i actually went online to look at SRT-4's to see how much they cost nowadays. And its still higher than i want to pay.

NOW. To alot of folks? its still a Neon. To be honest with you, you can hate them now, but Not everyone of them are ass hats.....and when you meet that one guy/gal that is a good person, and you come off as an ass just because of your previous experience. You might just turn that SRT-4 owner into an Ass hat cuz he was just trying to be nice.
