On my way to work this morning (in the rain) a black truck decided he was in the wrong lane and swerved right at me. I hit my brakes and swerved onto the shoulder but went into a slide and slid straight into a tree.
I was on the interstate doing about 70 when I lost control, the passenger seat was uprooted and smashed into the dash and my seatbelt cable snapped in half. Somehow I walked away with only a bruised elbow and knee.

Unfortunately my car wasnt so lucky.

 

The passenger seat coming loose and the seat belt snapping isn't giving me any comfort.
The hood bending upwards as it is designed and the engine sliding down and under the passenger compartment though

I'm glad you were able to walk away.

No, he just kept on truckin.

Some people who saw it happen called the cops but no one saw a plate number.

Luckily I have my fieros in storage, but neither are registered or have insurance so it will be monday or tues before ill be back on the road.

I dont think the car is salvageable, and I dont know how much they will give me for it, I just hope i can get another s2k in good condition for however much the insurance company gives me.

 

Sucks to hear. Good to know you're safe and the s2k is a very safe car.
