Yeah, but thats just cuz they have bad traction issues, they trap at about 105 =]

The seats were stock.

Even if they caught the guy would you really be able to get anything out of him? I have heard its better to hit a car then swerve off the road. Thats insurance wise though getting hit head on at 70 wouldn't have ended so well i dont think. Did you ever figure out why the guy decided your lane was better than his own?

Sorry for your loss hope you get a decent check from the insurance..

Sorry to hear what happened to you. Glad you're okay though! You can replace machines but you can't replace a person. Take care and hopefully everything goes through for you.

Ive heard that about insurance too, but when you see a car swerve at you your instinct is to get out of the way.
I think he needed to make an exit, but I really didnt pay much attention to him once I started sliding.

I know, I am seriously thankful.
There must have been some sort of safety bubble around me that kept my seat from ripping out like the passenger one did, I have a feeling I would be in a lot worse shape if it had.
And I count the seatbelt breaking as a blessing too, if it hadnt all the force that went into snapping the seatbelt would have gone into me.
