well, tonite was a calm nite, until mike calls and says, hey my buds m3 is back together, and he wants a piece.
i say, no problem.
so we go out for some runs, and let me tell you what that is one fast m3. he has the bmw version of my car. factory freak. this car runs way hard. all he has is, intake, tuned ecu, and lightened flywheel. SMG car, and he just did a new clutch and then had bmw train the new setup. didnt think hed be much trouble.
1st few runs, i have no gas, and am spinning like crazy, and i still get out on him, but he runs me down and at 105-110 we are side by side.
we did this 3 times with him about a half car up at 110 several times, and were both shocked, his car is damn fast, and he was actually fired up at how fast my car is.
so we take it to the gas station, and i add 20 bucks for some traction. the pave is way cold in vegas lately, and i cant hook till 3rd. we do another race, and on the west side of town, the roads are empty, and all are 3 lanes wide. so each time the ap1, and sometimes the other M3 were in these races, but getting smoked bad.
so he warms the hides, and so do I. this is THE race. east on charleston on all new pavement. light drops, and ITS ON. im out hard, and stay that way, we raced all the way to 126 where my fifth ends, and i lifted. with him right near my taillight. so pretty much even. id say i had a half car on him. i got out 2 cars, and he ran me down and then stayed at my tail. what a race.
one of the best runs ive had in a while.

im so fired up i cant sleep. now i need header, throttle body, and tune. heheh.
aside from all that, i made two new friends, these M3 guys were way cool. and we talked for about an hour afterwards. about our sick runs.

Tuned ECU...do u mean he has software? None of those mods add power and a lightened flywheel does very little for the E46 M3...it's aleady pretty rev-happy. If a NA S2000 was keeping up with him then he certainly doesn't have a factory freak.

hahah. LOL. yes im NA. and no i dont have spray, im an advocate for NX. my screen name on every other forum is n2odoc. because i tune and build nitrous setups. i have the jug on my drag car, but not on my S.
if your new to my car, and its setup, i smash e46 M3's without trying. this is the fastest one ive ever raced.

You were obviously the better driver as in most of your races. Stock S2k vs Stock M3 (let alone modded), the M3 will always win all things equal, no one can defy physics.

interesting logic. its not hard to drive an SMG car, set the launch control and hang on. the cars haul ass. im the one driving the low torque 4 cyl car.
and all things equal, the M3 doesnt always win. sorry, done that test far too many times. with newbs, not even my cars. wish you lived closer so you could see whats up.
