The laws on lane splitting are vague but the fact is a CHP can pull you over for unsafe driving whenever they want. Doesn't happen too much.

Lane splitting ("filtering" in Europe) is erratic by nature. High speed differentials are asking for trouble. But I don't see where 20 bikes is different than two, or one. Maybe you feel like you're in a an old Brando movie?

VTECS2000, lane splitting may not even be legal in your state. It is not officially allowed in most. But what do you know about bad traffic in Ohio? I mean, LA and SF areas have real wrath-of-god traffic. Most of of the country, excluding a few towns like Boston & NYC, has no idea.
