I get that same argument from owners ("not a drag car") no matter what car you pick. I get that crap from other Z06 owners! Even the '03 Cobra is not a "drag car." If you think so then why does it come with IRS rear end?

Asking about track performance is one of the few objective ways to measure it. You don't have to run it over-and-over until smething breaks. Just one good run will tell.

Dyno plots don't always translate into fast cars and too many street encounters are against people who can't drive and cars in unknown condition. At least at the track you have a no-lie timing system, even if you do have to account for altitude, humidity/temperature, and track prep (VHT spray). I always run about 0.5 sec slower at LACR than Carlsbad and I'd still like to run at negative DA's on a well-prepped track.

Everyone talks about weak drivetrains. There not glass, but they are the weakest point of the car. If you take a look at the ratio of people actually blowing them to actual owners of S's, its not that bad. I think there are more people who have overrevved the car than blown a diff.

Any car can be used as a drag car, but its just going to cost more to do it for some.

As for an S2000 in the 11's. Sure, but it aint a car you want to drive on the street anymore.

Actaully that goes for any car, how many 11 second cars are streetable anyway? Everyone has there own purposes for the car, Im sure JDMKID doesnt use that thing as a everday driver.

I have driven JDMKID'S car and it is VERY streetable. When I drove the car it was running 18 PSI. The car ran 12.1 @ 117 MPH on 15 PSI @ MD International Raceway. His car drove just as docile as stock unitl called upon (no sputtering, missing, overheating or anything).

A myriad of 911 turbos and Z06's come to mind.

and yes i can still drive my car on the street still has AC and heat...and you will all see in the next few months that the S is not just good for auto-X
You can drive anything on the street, that does not mean it is streetable. High horsepower in the S2k translates into the need for a strong clutch, which translates into horrible stop and go mannerisms --- along witha myriad of other little issues to keep the car running under day to day circumstances.

By the way, have a dyno for that 500 horsepower number or is it just "based on my mods" internet bullshit?

The car ran 12.1 @ 117 MPH
Yay Stock Z06's do that with a warranty.

Awww, poor wittle guy. You say stupid things and people call you on them then you run and cry in threads like this. Sad. Don't say stupid shit, no one will call you on it.
