CL Type S faster or S2K

Yeah...the CL is a dog in 4th and 5th...but add the CAI and headers...and the powerband shifts...more torque and hp at 5K+. I've ran with a few s2ks....off the line...i stay pretty even....but you guys do start pulling...(damn...9k!!)..
I have beaten a few....usually, I'm hoping you guys arent gonna drop your clutch at 5K or if you misshift...game over.

hmm, very true. our 4th and 5th sux. just look at the gear ratio. its like .7:1 for 4th and like .4X for 5th. 3rd gear ends at 110mph for a stock and 114~115 for a modded typeS.
personally since I raced my buddies s2k, if you don't launch perfectly the typeS will win almost everytime.
Try launching the s2k in 1500rpm like the TypeS and we'll see who wins
But the new 03 6speed vs. s2k I'd have to give it up for the typeS

The best they run is 14.7-15.0, and as I said earlier, they are really slow past 100 mph...

The headers make 32 hp. with no other mods they make 32hp!!! I know, see sig. 206hp stock 234 with the headers, 242 with headers and intake. CL-S's react very well to mods. Check AcuraCL.com for some vids of a CL-s handing a modded Integra type-R it's ass.
