for around 700 bux, you go from 205 hp 200 lbf to 245 ish Hp / 230 lbf and redline to 7000
Stage 3 allow for 100 shot or changes in octane and adjustable rpm from 6750 to 8000 rpm by using the gas pedal to set points before start of car

that's only ECU, injectors and pulley... start dumping money in exhaust etc etc...
So yes, they have nice turnkey options.

So all that power will be useless, because you can't put it to the ground in 1st - 3rd.
I have had both..They are both very sexy. When I owned my AP1, I used to talk trash on the AP2. Now I just love my AP2. It's funny how people argue which is better when they have never had the oppurtunity to drive both for a PERIOD of time.
Well, I know for a fact and can vouch that those little suckers can be fast. My friend has a Cobalt SS 2006 I believe with a custom 3 Inch CAI, 42 lb/min Injectors, Stage 2 GM Reflash, and 2.76 Inch Smaller pulley, that car I saw last night keep up with a Cammed Evo 9. Granted the Evo 9 was running 16 psi of boost. And then later turned it up to 22psi of boost and put 2 cars on the Cobalt. His cobalt keeps up with my Stage 2 STi. And I've seen him personally be dead even with an untuned Stage 2 STi.
I liked how the Cobalt SS looked until I saw how big they are in person. Despite being sized for us overweight Americans they are decent cars, but the FWD keeps me away just like with the SRT4.
I hate the thought of having tons of power that can't be put to good use because either the car weighs 2 tons (GTO, Charger, etc.) or it is FWD.
