now think about how much money it would cost to get your s2k to 300horse and how much money it would cost to get a cobalt SS/Ion redline to get there..

congrats on the race and even if you barely won, remember the reasons why you bought the car, instead of a more practical car on steroids.
Yes it IS true it cost less money to get the 300 WHP. But in terms of reliability and looks and nimbleness, i wouldnt mind spending that extra money....but its not THAT much more money in the long run.
SS/and SRT are only good to a certain amount of power.....whats the point of having 400 whp to the FRONT when you dont have traction.......at least with the Rwd, with 400 whp, its put to better use.
AND you cant handle corners nearly as well as an S2000.....so in the long run, to be able to handle, and put down high hp to the wheels and get traction? i think it would add up alot more than the S2000.

true... from a price perspective there are lots of other cars that can be made to go faster for less money... but they either have a lower quality interior/ wrong type of platform (built on fwd, or 4 door econobox) for what you wanted when you went for the s2k. You need to be a certain type of person to get a 2 seater roadster with little to no room and loud ride on the highway as a DD. I personally feel the look of a two door roadster far outweighs the disadvantages it brings up 98% of time you aren't racing or cruising with the top down. Give me a few years and a few kids and that may change

Driving one is like doing a fat chick. Its all good fun until your friends see you.
guess you've never seen a properly put together car...my car boogies on street tires (proper boost by gear setup) and on dancing shoes...haha I come out the hole just as hard as anyone else (1.6-1.7 60's with 126-127 mph trap speeds...I'll have the paddle ready when I row by lol). There are PLENTY fwd cars that are setup properly and if you think they are going to spin while you stick...well you got life misunderstood.
