You guys disputing those numbers need to get out A LOT more. I've seen SEVERAL stock C5's trap 110mph or better. Not many, but they're there. I presume we're not talking Z06 C5's either, right?

Also, 330rwhp is possible especially on good running F-bodies. My car has dynoed 337rwhp with intake, headers, and exhaust. I'm running close to an 11.5:1 A/F ratio too on the big end. Lean that out and I'm very close, if not at, 350rwhp. My torque is 351rwtq too! F-bodies generally dyno better than C5's as well, so I know a few lid/cutout F-bodies that dyno VERY DEEP into the 330's, a few in the 340 range. These are '01-'02 F-bodies with the LS6 intake, etc.

Get you heads out of the sand for crying out loud!! 98gt281's claim that his dad ran a 12.91@110 with DR's and an air filter is so within the realm of possiblity, it's not even funny. Another thing, morons, HRP is one of the quickest tracks in the COUNTRY. I ran a 12.59 at 112mph with just an intake and cat-back ON STREET TIRES about a year ago.

I feel like I'm wasting my breath here....

High 12 to low 13s on a C5 is reasonable... w/ traps from 105 - 110 mph

rwhp at 310-330 rwhp is reasonable as well.

I don't know what the torque would be though.

Later.

Nope DUDE sorry you are wrong. I'm still willing to meet up with you to buy some of that stuff you are smoking.

A C5, or F-body, with drag radials on it is nowhere close to being considered stock. Depending on the driver that is good for .2-.5 off your time. Leaving these little subtleties out of your first response is exactly why it smells so bad in here. One other thing...you really are high if you think an LS6 intake manifold is going to provide anymore than 5-10HP, and that aint at the wheels.

If you have not seen a LS1 dyno around 330 stock then you have not been watching, I have seen it happen so many times, have you ever seen a full SLP option car dyno, hell some make 335 BONE STOCK, I really have no reason to tell a bunch of lies! Almost all LS6 intaked LS1 cars with the T-56 Tranny dyno over 320RWHP, sorry dude you are wrong, I have seen way to many dyno sheets.

SURE. This clearly shows that YOU have no idea what you are even talking about. A fully optioned SLP car dyno?? What do you think they put steroid juice in the engine at SLP? Do you think they pull an LS1 out of the "ELITE" pile out back? Are you one of the suckers that actually believe an SLP optioned F-body is superior to a non-SLP car? What...is the Bilstein or Koni setup going to plant more power to the ground?

This is hilarious.

I am so tired of you retarded comments, not all SS and WS6 cars have full SLP options!! The SLP loudmouth exhaust is an option and so is the highflow Lid which comes with a Air Filter, YOU need to brush up on your facts, if you dont think a SS with a catback, Filter, and Lid will dyno more than a stock Z-28 you are retarded, you can look it up if you want, YOU are wrong, it is a 345 HP package, and it is not on all SS & WS6 cars. Man you are not to bright!! You try to make me sound so wrong, BUT you are the one who is wrong, at least research a littlle before you attempt to correct sombody, damn!GM rates it at 345 which is 30 more than the Z-28 and 15 More than the SS,even though most SS and WS6 cars really don't put out anymore than stock Z-28's, the full option cars do. It is getting very hard to beleive you owned a Z-28. My dads car ONLY had a filter, nothing more, and I don't even know what to say about the fact that tires counted as a mod, especially street tires.

Look retard. Go over to the ls1.com forums and post a link to this thread so that everyone there can laugh at you as well. I can't even believe you are bringing up the 345HP package...that is such crap. Anyone that knows anything about f-bodies knows that the SLP options are a damn JOKE. If you knew anything technical about these cars, besides how to spout off made up HP numbers, you would know by now that the Donaldson Blackwing airlid and filter are complete shite. There has been a flow test performed on both it, MTI's lid, the Direct-Flo, Whisper, and the Direct-Flo came out on top every time. Don't come to me telling me I'm not too bright and that I never owned a Z-28. I know FAR more than you will ever know about f-bodies, and C5's for that matter.

Hey smartguy GM doesn't rate anything at 345. SLP makes a guess that it's 345. Full option cars do what? What exactly is a full optioned car? Do you even know what you are saying when you type? Do you proofread for errors?

OK I simply can't argue with you anymore, I mean you pretty much just said that the catback, lid and filter make 0HP, but they do. Maybe not much, but they do. Enough to take that 315RWHP stock SS up to 325 or 330, I think it is very simple to see but you can't. I am not a member at LS1.com, but if you are why don't you post a thread asking to see stock 01+ LS1 dyno #, say you want to see both stock SS and WS6 #'s and then say you want to see some 345HP Package #'s, I promise the 345HP cars will make 10-15 RWHP more than the stock ones, I will not argue with you anymore because you just keep saying the same thing, which is wrong, sorry.

What's funny is that all these LS1 guys call their cars stock when a free cutout mod is good for 20-30hp.

I said stock! They trap 107 max! Stock means stock everything.

What tracks are you guys going to? The funny thing is that the LS1 guys in CenTex love to go to Alamo Raceway on the weekend cause the read 3 mph faster on traps. I was trapping 99 in my Subie! What do all you people run at River City (qualified NHRA/IDRC track) huh?

All the LS1's I see there that are stock looking trap 106. I even beat some of the poor bastards in my Subie.

There is so much FUD from the LS1 engine owners. Why do so much of you feel the need to get in a pissing contest? Grow up and look at all the facts. And stop running at the backwoods tracks!

E-town is below sea-level so it doesn't count.

RCR is 400ft above sea level.

Precisely.

If you don't know what you are talking about in the slightest the best thing to do is not try. You don't even know what a fully optioned car is do you? You just said it because it sounded good at the time...right?
