i havent really opened the car up on anyone since getting the gears (bc i'm trying to be responsable lol) but lately i cant help but partaking in some shenanigans. my first run in was with a slightly modified 08 IS. it had intake headers and exhaust work. at first i thought it was a 250 so i decided to play since i figured it'd be an even race. did a couple of rolls and got walked. not too bad but it definitely wasent a 250, it was a 350. after i learned that fact i didnt feel so bad (350, 3.5l 315 stock). the very next day i had a run in with a modded g35. slammed with an exhaust. i was behind him and he gunned it at a light and i decided to follow suit. i started creeping up on him and then we shut down. i got in the next lane and we both gunned it at the next light and i walked him pretty bad. i expected alot more from that car honestly. the one thing i didnt understand is that it had a single exhaust. they are v6's arent they? then my last run in was a highway cat and mouse game with a sc300. he was dead set in trying to beat me since he had his gf with him. everytime i just pretty much ran away from him. then when i hit my exit he throws his hazards on as he flies by me.

i'm setting up a run in the next few weeks with another s2000 that has 4.57s aem intake, f22 bottom end and a fujitsubo exhaust. i'm waiting for my wheels to come in before i run him (lighter wheels). he wants to see the difference between 4.77s and 4.57s so i'll report back with those results at the end of the month.

I would like to see a good race between stock and 4.77 gears with equal drivers and no other real mods. Would be nice ot finally see what the difference can be. Feels a lot faster but would be nice to see how much faster it actually is.
