so i was casually driving to work this morning, when a dude with 08 e350 kept on hanging on my arse, i got out of the way 'nicely' (i even used turn signal). he just floored it and then proceeded to brake. we both ran into a red light, i know what he wants to do but i was just really chilled didn't want to race. anyhow, i took off when the light turn green, as slow as i could to not try to instigate anything, but he kept on lining up with me, i was in second gear at the time. i then got annoyed and proceeded to floor my s. then i heard his engine went crazy and just left me in the dust....

please tell me i suck at driving and i should have eaten him...

or, its prominent that he is too fast?

As long as your were around VTEC, it would be all you. Saying his engine went "crazy" means that E350 is just a badge and he did something bada$$ to it.

I've driven the E350 and it is not a beast.

From 2nd you should have had him easily.. He was fishing for a race because his car was tuned up so don't sweat it man.

I was at about 25-30mph when I punched.. I forgot to mention I can hear his intake sound or spool sound from inside my cabin? Sound like a vacum cleaner if you know what I'm saying lol. After seeing all of your comments made me feel better. At the time I thought I need some serious driving skills...
