You obviously know nothing at all.
actually I do, if those are the only two mods that that thing has then he will not be winning. Yes it will get great increases from those mods but it's still not enough to win. My buddy had a 99 gs-t with 3" downpipe, 3" exhaust, boost controller set at 16lbs, a blow off valve, and motor mounts. From a stop I would kill him( yes I know it will be different with the awd version), but from a low or high roll I would still pull immedietly. He's not the best driver in the world, but he still could not understand why even with all his mods he would loss. Fact is simple, it just wasn't enough.

You further prove your ignorance. 2Gs are a completely different story! They have a much smaller garrett T25 turbocharger. Most owners are lucky to run low 14s with a T25.

you my friend need experience. stop talking out of your ass and us your head. I know the difference, just staing an example of an encounter I had. I have no doubt my buddy was making more power then the guy with two mods. Not to mention he is heavier being that he is awd.

My god man the guy asks for peoples opinions and there always has to be some fan boy that has to defend the car at subject.

no i saw that, but I saw nothing saying he is boosting higher. If the guy was boosting high then yes the turbo sizing would make a difference, but I'm sorry if he is at stock boost then there will not be much gained by just placing in a 16g.

I am just being realistic. I'm no DSM fanboy. I actually hate the cars because of how poor quality they are. Mine was in the garage more than it was running. I shouldve gotten rid of it when the first engine crankwalked...on that note...this race will come down to what condition the DSM is in. If it is in good running condition, then the S2K is likely to lose.

boosting a 16g at 12 14 psi is pretty stupid if you ask me. it is in perfect efficiency around 20-21 psi, so if this guy knows his ass from a hole int he ground he will be boosting more than 12-14 psi.

I'd agree that if the car is in good condition, and the driver can really drive well then it'll be close. I still see the S coming out on top at the end though.

i agree and this is why I made my previous comments. Stcok boost I believe is somehwere from 10-12. The exhaust should bring his boost up a bit but if he is running 12 psi on that turbo then yes he's stupid. I guess we'll wait to see what the thread starters results will be in this.

...and he will have already purchased injectors and fuel management to back up the higher airflow. Then its time for a new clutch.
