hopefully he has the supporting mods. at least hopefully for his sake.

 

people are making lots of comments about "if he has this" or "if he did that" and whatever.

he's got a turbo back exhaust with a 16G running stock boost. no more what ifs ands or buts.

with those mods, the talon isn't going to win. especially from a roll. he'll hang with you a bit, but you will steadily pull.



the only personal experience i have in this regard is a guy that had a 2nd gen dsm with 16g turbo, FMIC, 17psi, exhaust and don't remember what else. from a stop it was a very close driver's race. from a roll it was even until we got above about 80 or so, and then i'd pull. i was stock at the time.

 

16G on DSM = S2000 (stock) loosing. I built a 16G DSM with a mild tune and ran a 12.8. So you aint gonna do it unless the guy is stupid. Really stupid.

 

so you had just the 16G and a turbo back exhaust like this guy and you ran a 12.8 with just the 16G and turbo back running stock psi?

 

great statement buddy. So a dsm with just a 16g will whoop an S huh. I don't doubt you ran 12 watever, but what did you have done to it. If had what this guy has(16g, and turboback), then no you did not run 12's.
Any care built can run great times and be very fast, but his car is not built. With only turboback and 16g turbo on stock boost, it's not happening.
