It was a black Mondial 3.2 Quattrovalvole. Lined up at the light and went for broke. He pulled ahead about 1.5 car lengths at the beginning and then WOOSH flew by him once VTEC came on song. What a beautiful feeling.

Yeah, yeah I realize that it was just a Mondial...but hey....now I can say I beat a FERRARI.

IMO, the Mondial has to be the ugliest Ferrari ever built. I saw one driving around the other day. There's a 328 I've seen around town that I'd like to test...

 

COOL - I had a similar experience today as well. Came up to stop light and a Ferrari 328 GTS was in front of me. He saw me in his mirror and tried to lose me on the green, but no dice!! What a feeling when he looked in his mirror again and saw me right on his tail. Unfortunately, we caught up to traffic and had to cool it, but what a RUSH!! God, I just love this stook!!!

 

YES, the mondial is the ugliest ferrari. I guess its for those folks who just "have" to own ferrari, but would never be able to pay the price for a modena or equal.

I personally like the Magnum PI ferrari, which one was that again?

 

That was the 308. It's similar to the 328, but the 328 is the newer, upscaled version that came out later. Ex: 348 to 355 to 360. It looks similar, but a way you can tell (besides the numbers on the rear) is the front grill on the 328.

That's one of my favorite body styles. I especially like the '85 288 GTO. It looks similar to the 308 and 328.

Not really, the 348 was replaced by the 355 was replaced by the 360. The 550 and the 360 arent related at all, totally different cars.

The Mondials and 308s and 328s all kinda suck. This is imo the worst generation of Ferraris. The old school Ferraris are to die for, the new ones are hot as shit, but Ferrari ****ed by up tryna make affordable cars.

 

ok, so let me see, the 360 and 550 aren't related, but the 550, is more expensive and is a V12 and supposedly a level above the 360. So when they were making the 348's, what was the higher level model above that?
