But to see, "I blew away a Modena...", get real.
No, don't worry, I don't own "a" Ferrari, I own 2...maybe when you grow up, you can buy two nice cars also...

Another non-car guy poseur chimes in with his wonderfully brand-centric automotive world view. There's not even a comparison between a S2000 and a 308 or 328, the Ferrari wouldn't have a chance. The 308 Quattrovalvole was a high 6 second car 0-60, slowed by its extremely long first gear. It's a full second *slower* than the S2000, and naturally the same can be said for the slower cousin, the Mondial.

scuderia9 - so nice of you to visit your little Honda site with your big 2 ferraris. Georgia is a nice place though
Try 12 all classics from the last 25 years....all in nicely air conditioned and heated show garages. and yes, they are all tagged and insured. New Hampshire has such wonderful no sales tax laws!

Thanks fluxen. I definitely said that as a joke. I think some people don't understand what
means.
Anyway, the funny thing is, a fellow S2K owner knows the guy that was driving the 360 Modena. He might be at one of the S2K meets in So Cal the next time. Not sure if he'll be at the Irvine one or not.

Scuderia9,
Nobody is disputing the fact that the 360 Modena would "dust" an S2000. Like fluxen said it was a joke that was posted by MarkS2K.
What year is your 288 GT0? Got any pics. Definitely a classic...

This thread was about a Mondial, you didn't have to mention it. Of course we recognize the age of the 308 & Mondial, the guy was just (understandably) happy to beat *any* Ferrari in his Honda. That doesn't mean anyone here expects to beat an F50. So you must be referring to the part where MarkS2k says:
"I went up against a silver 360 modena in my other car and blew it away. Of course we were in bumper to bumper traffic on the 405 and my lane was moving faster than his lane.
