Eclipse Sleeper Vs S *vid*

ohh and if all the guy had was his car on stock turbo, only mod being boost controler at 19psi...then ya you should beat him...his car isn't made for 19psi yet...its made for 11psi...a lot of dsmers don't realize that they need other supporting mods before they "up the boost" he probably would have been a little faster if he actually dropped the boost to 14psi (on 91 octane) or 16 (on 93 octane) because he is currently knocking and getting timing pulled at that pressure

hmmm well I never checked out the vids because I don't have broadband at my house, I need to bring my computer (laptop) to my GF's house with cable.
But if both of you were stoped and you would just launch ahead...maybe he was FWD and just not a very good driver...or maybe he has an exhaust leak (cracked manifolds are common amoung 1gs as they are now all atleast 10yrs old, plus the manifold doesn't have any nickel in it where as the 2g manifold has small amounts and more resistant to cracking...so that could cause him to have much slower spool up...where as in second at 40-45, he is already at 4500 rpms and thats a sweet spot or the turbo...it would should be completly spooled (even with a leak) under .5 seconds...it would actually be almost instant with the stock turbo at that RPM
