ohh and if all the guy had was his car on stock turbo, only mod being boost controler at 19psi...then ya you should beat him...his car isn't made for 19psi yet...its made for 11psi...a lot of dsmers don't realize that they need other supporting mods before they "up the boost" he probably would have been a little faster if he actually dropped the boost to 14psi (on 91 octane) or 16 (on 93 octane) because he is currently knocking and getting timing pulled at that pressure

I had A 97 Gst. And uping the boost diddnt make it quick.

What made it quick was upping the boost, and freeing up the air and Fuel for it. IM talking about injectors, Fuel Rail, Spark plugs, Downpipe... random Crap.

I Always Was running lean on my car, cause it would boost 20lbs just not enough gas to combust. Also this wasent on the stock turbo, i blew the hell out of the stock turbo.

Those cars are quick, when done right. I will admit, quicker then the s2k, with less mods. But hey, they cant turn to save there lives .

you are crazy if you tried to run 20lbs on the stock injectors...

But remember that he is a 1g, he has a different turbo, the 14b (as long as he is a 5spd), the 14b is much better than the T25 that came on the 2gs...both 1g and 2g owners w/14b's and lots of weight reduction have been able to dip into the 12's...

interesintg...Just the other night had a 95 or so eclipse I think GST and all he kept blowing his BOV on and off. I asked him what he had when he was next to me and he told me turbo and said he was at 15PSI running 13.9. I could see a boost controller the bright blue thing in the interior. To bad we were next to city hall and 30mph zone otherwise..he kept reving and boving at me and I almost bit but I doubt his car was 13.9 most liekly high 14s or low 15s.

The video of the S vs. the type-r, are you sure it's an R? It looked like it had one of those sunroof wind defelctors, and r's only came in hardtop, no sunroof available. just wondering Nice videos btw!

No it's not a type R, it was a type r motor swap in a 95' special edition...

My first race ever was against a pretty modded type R up to 110 on the freeway, I caught up no pron and it was even and I started to pull ahead at about 95 or so then cut off at 110. That was my 1st race in t he s2k ever and I was not to experianced so I didn't shift right but still won
