Embarassed an Audi
Started off behind him at a light, both of us waiting to turn right onto a 4 lane road. The light turned green, he went for it around the corner, and I decided to pursue my newest target. The added midrange from the ITB's really helped around the corner, as I cought him by the end of 1st gear ( I went to the outside, he took the corner tight and went for the inside), and had 2 cars on him by the end of 2nd. I cut it off there for safety's sake, but the outcome was clear. S2000 1, Audi boy's 0
I don't condone street racing. This was a simple expression of short line acceleration, by 2 independant entities, unrelated to each other's action. I would have accelerated that corner in the same manner, as I do everyday, regardless of what other cars are there. Yesterday just happened to have a worthy opponent (or so I initially thought). I thought the A4's were faster than that....

Those models are not sport tuned at all. The stock turbo's are weak. Even with a chip, the S2000 still has them owned.
Put it this way, depending on the year some of those stock 1/4 mile times can around 15.9
The last generation S4 has similar handling capabilities when compared to the S2000. But I believe the S2000 still has an advantage on the track vs the S4 because of the S2000's lightweight, great handling and close to 50/50 weight distribution.
