I'm in the process of breaking in the new transmission so i have been taking it VERY VERY easy.

but i've wanted to race one of these a while now.

so it was deemed a special occasion race!

Rollin down towards my friends and I spot a black 6.0 goat with red pin stripes cruising. Traffic was pretty heavy for a while so I just stuck to his butt. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Probably stock I'd say. Anyhow traffic eventually opened up and I got beside him and he just didn't seem to care. FINE! Be like that! So I sped up and took off. Well shit. He's comin up and gets next to me. My friends chillin next to me and we're both looking his way to see if he wants to go or anything. He didn't care to look. He sped up pretty quick without warning though so I caught back up on him and looked over again. No aknowledgment but I knew he wanted to play. Downshifted twice and waited for him to go from an 80 roll. He took off and I followed suit and he got maybe 3/4ths of a car on me before I spooled up and started reeling in hard. He broke early as hell though because some car was wayyyyyyyyyy in front of us (like 8-10 damn cars). judging by how slow he was moving I would have walked on him hard. Tried giving him a thumbs up but still no aknowledgement. Kept heading out to my buds and he just stayed behind me the whole way after that.

Cliffnotes: evo mr vs 6.0 goat. 80 roll to 100. Tie? not sure what to call it. I know I'd pull one bad now though.

Back to the break in. Had my car back since friday at 5pm and managed 450 miles so far. Recomendation on it is 500miles. Oh well? lol. Btw the friend in my car was 250+lbs

I drove an o6 6 speed goat and was not impressed at all.

 

I dont have many mods (dynoflash mail-in, boosting 21.5psi, k&n air filter) and lost to a stock-appearing GTO. He kept pulling too.

 

yup. 3 months and 3 weeks worth of downtime.

trans feels great through. finished the break in tonight. 570 miles since friday 5pm
