I haven't gotten any races since putting in my new differential. I've been anxious to line up with someone. While this wasn't exactly what I was looking for I guess I'll take what I can get. I'm sitting at a traffic light and an Explorer "Sport" pulls up next to me w/ 4 young guys in it. They roll down the windows, look over at me, and kinda laugh, wtf? Light turns green and they floor it. I just go part throttle in 1st, staying even with their back bumper until I get to 6000 rpms. Then I drop the hammer and just blow by them like they were parked. I think I let out somewhere around 100, they were train lengths back. They caught me a few blocks later, still WOT, as I was turning off, they yelled something but I couldn't make it out. I think they actually thought they had a chance.

 

An explorer eh??

Hey, I like your side vent. I just got some for my AP2 made from aluminium but I like the one in you ID better. I'm not sure what that red thing that looks like part of a used condom is but the your vent did it's job. My CAI pipes down to my vent and I cut it out, now I can see the K&N filter now. I don't drive in the rain but you never know when you may run over a trash.

Is a 0-70 race on an interstate on ramp "racing" or is it attaining the speed limit in a "merging" fashion??
