Default Fiero! (Don't laugh - read, then laugh) (a little long, but worth it)

was down at mom's in DC for thanksgiving, and she asked if she could try my '02... since she used to race in the 70's, i said sure let's go... not soon after, we're on a stretch of straight road at a light when a late model fiero with a widemouth fart can on the back pulls up along side on the passenger (my) side and starts revving... looking at me, but i don't think he can see the driver of my car... i look at her and say, "what do you think?" god bless my mom, she says, "ok let's go!" revs to 5k, light goes green, and she drops the hammer... to say we left the fiero behind would be a gross understatement... stop at the next light (3/4 mile or so) and about 5 seconds later, fiero pulls up with window down... "man that thing is fast," he says... i said, "sure is - probably even faster when my MOM isn't driving it!" dude's girlfriend starts howling with laughter, dude drops his head in his hands. mom pops the clutch, swings the end around and makes a fast left turn and we go home for turkey! we got home, she tosses me the keys, and says, "silly racer boys! this is a real car. let's eat!"

Considering I wouldn't even let my mom touch my keys, that's pretty awesome your mom did that ... except, you should have egged her on to dump it from 7500rpm's!

So cool man!

On Clublexus, there is a guy (he is 15 years old and fixes up his soon to be GS300)

when he is with his mom, she races with other ppl (more like, put metal to the pedal type of racing)

People are so appalled and unprepared that a mom in a fixed-up GS3 is racing

whoa, ahahah

I remember my first race when I was 15, I was in my friend's dad's sedan and some integ came up next to us. Anyways, we rolled out slowly then the integ gunned it and so did we, we pulled on it and beat it. Then the dad turned to us and said "this is a bad influence, you guys shouldn't do it." hahahaha

I think that hooked me into racing

I've raced with what looked to be a 70 year old woman before. Not sure if she was actually racing or if she just had no sense of speed
