So....................

I am leaving the parking lot of Pep Boys (had to by a parking light bulb) and up ahead I see a Z06, so I hurry on up and pass him in the left to take a look and show him the 'ol Stealthy S

He gets behind me and the light up ahead turns red (two lane highway, at the light he is till behind me)

So the light turns green and I slowly roll off the line, waiting until I get up to speed to where I could **** around in 3rd if I had too, 1st and 2 gear are limited to 10lbs and it just makes the car feel pig slow.

So I get to about 4,000RPMS in 3rd and I see him move over to the right to over take me, I go WOT and he goes from just behind my back bumper to neck and neck and slowly pulling by the time I am middle of 5th) then we both have to shut down because there is traffic ahead. So we keep cruising (his windows are tinted) and we get to a light up ahead,

now, I basically pussied out, because

#1 I can not afford to blow the Diff, so I didnt want to launch
#2 I did not want to race a Brand new Z06 by slowly rolling off the line, he would have blown me away.

I was going to tell him to go from a roll, but his windows were still up and tinted so I didnt know if he was looking at me.

Light turns green he launches it and I basically roll of the line, then pursued him to go from a roll, which I lined up at about 60, and downshifted, but nothing happend, pretty much ricer on my part

So we get to another light ahead and there is a bunch of traffic so he loweres his window, and was like Dude what happened at the light I was all ready to go, I was like, haha I know man sorry, but I have 400Ft/lbs of torque on a stock Diff, but I will **** around from a roll . I tell him he has a beatiful car and if it is stock, and he says, "nah just a few small things", so I ask him, what these Small things are

Headers
Long tube? or something to that effect
505 rear
Full exhaust
Tune

So in my mind, I am like, dude on a V8 thats not small at all, thats F-- huge

So we slowly get off the line and we both hit it once again, I am in 2nd I guess he is in first and from 4,000RPMs to red line we were dead even in my 2nd, but I am sure he had another few mphs to go in 1st, I am not really sure.

So I would imagine if we did get a clean run from a roll and I didnt start ( I always do this) at like like 4,000rpms, if myabe I started at like 6,000 if would have been a really good run, I would imagine his car would be faster, either way it was interesting to see a modded Z06, and how my car could hold up againts 'em, and though I was impressed I wish we got a clean run with me starting in top of 4th or even 5th......

These shorter gears are just no fun, thats why I like the bikes, I usually start racing around 85mph, much more time in the sweet spot of my power band



anyway, cool guy, sick car, and I cant drive

 

You definitely need a racing diff so you can launch!

prepare to be like holy shit. If he had a cam he would've had another 50-70 horsepower and torque.

 

damn, yea sick cars, was brand new too, though I wish I would have pulled, I mean a Modded Z06 is pretty much the fastest thing I will probably ever encounter..........................I Hope

Why can't I just find a stock one

 

considering a stock z06 is capable of basement 11's like 11.2-11.5, i could see gaining 70-100 horsepower getting you to 10's.

Next time just find some springs, any kind will do (like ones from mechanical pencils or pens). Then throw them at him and laugh. Next, find any type of leaf from a tree, then burn it and blow the ashes in his face.

you dont need a bigger turbo, you need a r200 diff kit, and some race gas 675whp...ish.
