Default FIRED UP!

oh man, these races were so close that neither can post a kill. i call it a tie.
i go to the 76 station on my way home from class, and decide to clean the car out with some 100 octane. first time ive had it in the tank, and the car has 9865 miles.
well, i see this car that ive been seeing for about a month. 04 white mach 1 stang.
as im pullin from the pump, he is pullin out too and gives me the nod. we play a bit in traffic and he cant loose me. we get to the light at rainbow and we are talkin, he's automatic, and says he has stage 2 flash, and catback (loud as hell). i tell him, im intake and stage 2 clutch. he says ok, we procede to do a roll on from about 45. we nod and off we go, Vtec gets me half car jump, which he reels in and we steady up with him half car in front of me, as we go through 4th i begin to pull again, and by 5th we nose up. by this time im fired up.
we stop at the light, and he says "theres no way your just intake" LOL
i say yep, he says ok lets dig, we chat for a min, and the light turns green with us asleep, we both kinda figure we blew it, and at the last minute, he stalls up, and i just say F it, and slide the clutch out at 4k, i hit Vtec before the other crosswalk, and he comes up on cam at the same time, but i had almost a full car by then (i got the sweet launch) i watch him in the mirror, same deal, he catches a bit in the 50 mph range, but never even got to my door, above 100 i pulled again, and stayed about 1 car the whole race. MAN,, i was so stoked.
he took my phone number and we are gonna do the dig and roll ons, on cam. for all the non beleivers. this was an awesome nite, now i have to go out to the stable and give all those japanese ponies their treats, its gonna take a while to thank all 250+ of them. LOL. laters kids. dave

i doubt the fuel made any diff, especially since the car didnt have time to learn that it had more room in the timing curve. if anything, it may have made less power. either way. im stoked. dave

There is no automatic mach 1. You barely beat a GT auto, which is a solid 14 second car at best. That puts you right about where I expected your car to be, and about 4 seconds slower than YOU expected your car to be.

And stage 2 clutch, stage 2 catback...........how interesting. Im stage 1 intake, stage 3 exhaust, and stage 2 turbo right now on my s2000. But I have a few more races to go before I have enough money to get a stage one weight reduction. My wife keeps having stage 2 hotflashes and unplugging the PS2 in the middle of races!

And do your car a favor and stay away from high octane fuel, since it doesnt need it. If you want to "clean out the car" run a bottle of redline S1 through it. But you crewed a drag team for 11 years, so you knew that, of course.

Edit: So you actually didnt even beat him. You tied an auto mustang.

But I thought you were destroying STIs and whatnot without even trying hard? Did your vtec abandon you? Let me guess, the 100octane fuel robbed you of 100rwhp. Makes sense now.

hehe, glad to see the haters on my back. i love this guy. pakisho. honest i dont know if there is an auto mach 1 or not. but it was silky smooth, so i figured it was. especially when he jumped on it and it sounded like a nice kick down. im sorry that you are such a dildo. its pretty obvious by your angry replies to whatever i say, that you have a bit of jealousy or hatred towards me. i guess it takes dipshits like you to make the world go round. as i said before smart guy, uhm, i just happen to be a shop foreman at a dealership, so i guess that makes me blind and dumb. yes, it was a mach 1, i see him all the time. and i talked to him at 4 stoplights. and you can exaggerate what i say all you want, i do have stage 2 clutch, and an intake. and he said stage 2 flash. sorry im not a ford king, and dont know the EXACT terminology, i just repeated what he told me. once again, just putting up tire spikes, im not gonna allow the uneducated to run me over. take it easy all. vids are comin soon. dave
