FIRED UP!
im sure theres been a few people get em in low 13's. same with the few people that run 13.8 and 13.7's in stock s2's but a normal person behind the wheel at the drag stip isn't going to run a low 13 with that car. its a rwd v8 with over 300 ft pounds of torque its just not guna happen. and i only got a 13. 4 at 107 in my camaro ss when it was stock and it had 335 hp cuz it was an slp optioned car. It also weighs a little bit less than the mustang so it just doesnt make sense.
Machs are fast. I believe they reach 100mph almost 2 seconds (about 12 seconds to 100mph)) before an s2000. The Mach can do the quarter in mid 13's with a trap of 105 to 107 with not much difficulty.
Not sure what the auto does. But hey anything can happen on the street.
1/4 mile times can be very decieving. I perfer to compare 0 to 100 times. It gives a much better idea of a cars street speed.

And since when has the Gtec been recognized as a legitimate acceleration measurement device?? How many magazines now use it for their 1/4 mile times instead of an actual track?? I'd imagine it would be much cheaper and easier for them, but still they go to the track.. I wonder why?? Oh, that's right, because it's a toy and nothing more..
I can't believe that you guys are even attempting to pass Gtec times off as true times.. Of all the car forums, I never thought S2ki would become ricerville...
