I thought this vid is pretty cool. Didn't know the s2k is that much faster than the G35 especially starting from a roll.

At 60mph is a little bit closer.

G35 and 350Z are basically the same. The G35 supposed to be faster than the S2000.

G35s are quite a bit heavier than the 350z. '03-'04 Gs in particular are slower. During the '05-'06 MYs, the HP was increased on the G35. Then of course, again with the new generation '07+ MYs. Just now, the new model, the G37 coupe is about the same (accel. wise) as the S2000.

The G is fast, but in a Japanese Camaro type of way. Until recently, I had both. An 07 S and an 06 G35 6-sp coupe. Extremely heavy, poorly put together, but full of torque! All in all, it was a fun car to have, but not substitute for the S2000.

I owned both...S2K FTW when it comes to acceleration. Only place the G35 coupe has a shot is above 110mph.

My S would pull on my G from any MPH.

Not tying to hijack the thread but one of my friends has a first gen g35 auto and wanted to race my s2000 (this was when it was stock)but i was driving my H22A swapped accord. So i had my best friend that lives by me get it and bring it out. I let him drive it because i wanted to race the g in my accord. From a 45 roll they took off and i was lined up behind the s2000. The s instantly pulled 4 cars and kept pulling and i pulled up and passed the g and just kept pulling also. Auto G's are SLOW.
