Eh, I broke 115 in my ten year old Accord. Fifth gear, peddle to the floor, going on a slight decline down a country road. Since then I've been 125 in my newer 10 year old Accord (:

Don't try this at home!

132 in my 99 civ si, something stupid like 7k rpm in 5th.

146ish top down in my S2k, loud as hell.

IMO for how bad the aero's are on the s2k it pulls like a bansche from 70-130

When I bought my S2k my friends gave me a ride to the dealer in his M3 SMG. On the way home we were hitting 120-130. F'ing crazy.

A while ago I took the car up to 140ish with the top down on the highway, And I sware I'll never take it past 130 with the top down again! A gust of wind came and took me 3 lanes to the right real quickly, and you can't freak out and over correct too fast or I would have turned into a dradel and started spinning out of control, so I was just real lucky that there was no one else around!

With the top UP last week on my way to Orlando I hit 155 twice. Both times it got to 140-145 ish real quick, but 145-155 took a while and I just didn't feel like holding the car at 8K for any longer then I had already done.

Does any one know if that video of that S2K hitting 281 or so kmh (like 174mph i think) Is from a stock or from a modded s2000?? That was a sick vid!

I hit 130 in my s2k, then slowed down to 90 and I felt like I was going 10mph lol. I went 140 in my prelude, felt more stable because it was a lot heavier. The back on the s2k at high speeds feels like it could kick out at any moment

I tend to break 100 on a regular basis (shame on me). Today I tagged 110 in a pseudo race with a Jag (X-type... no idea what motor it had in it, but it was pretty dead even).

I've tagged somewhere around 130 in the S2k... I tend to keep my eyes more on the road at those speeds, so I can't be exact.

I did 110+ nearly the entire length of the NJ TP (I was younger and stupider), playing with a 911 Carrera in my 98 VW GTi (NA 4-banger). Made great time on that trip

I did 120 in my Miata (that was nearly topped out mind you) down a 2 lane country road in western virginia... racing an old pickup truck! The damn thing looked like Cooter from the Dukes of Hazzard should be driving it (Cooter lives in Western VA by the way), and he was hanging right with me.

I've had the WRX well past 100, although it tends to get floaty at speed. But on the upside, it could maintain 100+ all day long with the incredibly tall 5th gear.
