I am extremely impressed at the restraint shown here. Bravo everyone.

I too agree that it would be a treat just to see it, I was just being the VW supporter that I am and being a little obnoxious.

For a while I wanted to get "NO SLUG" for my license plate, being that I have a VW New Beetle 1.8T, but I figured I would get a little too much hostility from overly hostile over the top ricers.

Actually, I should probably applaud a very well selected and catchy license plate VR WHAT. Well done.

 

VR WHAT is clever on an Si, but I think a little silly on an S2000. I mean, comparing your car to one that costs $10,000 less, has at least 40 less HP, and is heavier as well seems just plain wierd.

I've egged on S2000s in my 1.8T not because I thought I could beat them (I can't) but because it's fun to see a nice car drive fast. The fact that you would brag about a VR6 "kill" in your clearly superior car just seems obnoxious. It would be like me bragging about dusting a Kia. Big friggin' whoop.

Anyway, one last thing, the 900 HP Dahlback car is not a VR6. The fastest VR6 car is made by EIP tuning and is running 10's.

I had a vanity plate on my old car, it read GTI 8V. When I got a 20-valve GTI, I discontinued the plate and got a different one. Why? Because it didn't make sense on the new car. I was just curious because you seemed to be in the same predicament, yet you chose to keep the plate. Seems silly.

As for vdub drivers acting like idiots, well, you're right. A lot of us are.
