Parents finally went on the ok with me getting an s2000. They said they would pay half of it. Hopefully I will get one mid-end summer.

must be nice. sorry, just jealous because i had to work my ass off to put myself into a position that i can afford to get married, my mortgage, my student loans, and this wonderful little car.

just be careful. i don't mean to be condescending, but i always worry about younger drivers getting behind the wheel of cars like the s2k. high performance cars take quite a bit of knowledge and discipline to drive safely on the public roads.

keep safe so that we see you on the road a year from now.

I'm also in the same boat as you, After I am done busting my can all summer my parents have agreed to let me buy one, as long as I get a job after school to pay insurance. BTW I'm paying for roughly 10,000$ of the car and trading in my old car that is worth about 17,000$. I got the 10 grand actually by earning about 3K last year and investing it through my parents
