supercharged tCs are not very fast. they're about as quick as a stock 2G DSM. as far as i know theres no such thing as a "stage 2" sc. theres just A sc. its made by vortech and TRD put their badge on it. the intake and exhaust with the sc adds maybe 10 hp, but all together, its still only making bearly above 200whp; maybe 205 or 210 at the most. the turbo kits are putting down more like 260 or 280whp and about the same # in torque, but our weak transmissions dont like that much power.

the tC is just not a sports car. i dont know why people have such a hard time wrapping their heads around that. lol.

thats not right. toyota actually says that your warrenty-covered supercharger's warrenty is voided if you tamper with or replace the pullies. theres even a little cap thing that dealers are supposed to instal so they can tell if you've messed with the pully. i have no doubts that something like that was done, but it wasnt toyota, and "stage 2" is a completely arbetrary name.

Yea, nice races. They are correct, there are no stage 2, and toyota forbides the pulley since right now, the smaller pulleys (aftermarket) are causing alot of trouble on the superchargers. Causing some sort of oil leaks out the shaft, dont really know in detail, but I been reading about it on scionlife.com. And they are still slow.
But nice races against the gto.

340 rwhp for an 2004 5.7 GTO is capable of dipping into the high 12's @ like 108 to 110mph. Actually the weakest part of the GTO's 5.7L 1/4 mile run is from 90 mph to 100 mph. Due to the fact that forth gear is so long, 90mph to 132mph.

I have a feeling your friend is not the greatest driver/launcher.

Nice wins!

I guess without times or MPH's we have to make are own conclusions!

But hey I walked an 04 GTO on a 50 mph roll on the highway in my geared s2000!

Again nice to see the wins! Good Driving!

The same can be said of every Civintegra, Protege, Neon or any number of grocery getters that someone has converted into a quarter mile car, track car, Baja1000 car, motorcycle, schoolbus or anything else that was not the designed intent.

From the sounds of it, he has good launching skills to beat the GTO Sounds about right for the 1/8 mile and your mods. I would imagine that the GTO would have pulled you in the 1/4 though. Ask me how I know?
