Friday Night Showdown....
I guess he didn't squeeze on you... but watch out for the b16 crx's, they're some rough ass ones out there. I met a guy yesterday at a track with a b16a 1st gen with every bolt on and gutted with a mugen DOHC chip and was running 13.2 at the track.
Actually, watch out for anything crx except the stock ones

Not only are the b16s dangerous in X's, but there's one that I see driving around the Seattle area that has a '95 GSR under the hood, and damn, does it look strange for a CRX ('88) to slaughter almost all of those that oppose it at the street drags. My friend says the drop cost him about 7K, plus all the other upgrades. I dunno what he runs on the quarter, but it'd beat most cars.
Young S2k: That WRX was just about stock, but the strip they were racing on was about 1/5 of a mile. I think all he had was exhaust and a body kit, at least that's what my friend said.

Oh, I believe you on that one probably more than most people. As I can see out my front window, there are 4 CRX's in my friend's driveway. 3 '90-'91 Si's and 1 88 DX with a B16 under the hood. They are the really popular car among my friends. None of them have an S2000 or are even thinking about getting one.

I'd still buy an S2k if I had the cash.
Also, GSR's are quick but I think a b16s are a little quicker than GSRs, or seems like it. My friend's both have a EG9 same year model and the hatch with the b16a gen 2 won by car. Both with only DC headers.
My friend that has one of the red Si's is trying for a GSR, but nothing'll beat that Type R down the street, jesus is that thing fast. My neighbor has a '93 hatchback and he has everything in that car from a APEXi Turbo with an intercooler and type R seat covers(though it's not a type R
), it's pretty fast. I want a Del Sol and after that I want a S2K.
