Default Friendly Mustang!

I was heading home from a friends house last night and I was really getting that itch to do something stupid. I was probably driving a little aggressively, but as I was getting close to the house I'd convinced myself to just call it a night. I'm making the last turn before my neighborhood and previously unnoticed 05+ Mustang GT gets right on my rear bumper.

At this point stupidity is just screaming for me to come out and play. I get caught behind a car and the Mustang flies by in the other lane, a nice sounding aftermarket exhaust on *gasp, as the Honda gods strike me down* what was a really good looking Mustang. At this point I'm coming up to my turn into the neighborhood, I hesitate for a second, then jump to the other lane to chase him down.

We come to a light and both make a right turn. I swing out into the lane next to him and pull alongside. He looks over, nods and points at his radar detector that's going off. I knew it was a false alarm from the store along side the road (as I go by it everyday) so I just nodded, gave a thumbs up. and waited for the signal to die down.

Once the detectors quiet down, I get alongside, drop to 2nd gear and he just takes off. He gets a little jump on me but I run him down pretty quick and pull a couple lengths before getting out of the gas. We both shut down, he pulls along side me and give me a I make my u-turn and head back home.

Yay for happy endings, and getting a little stupidity out of my system.

Good run, man I need some action too. The only action I get is trying to get my car home safe from MN's winter storm. Geez!
