I was on the highway after I left class, and I saw this silver c5 convertable coming up behind me, so he gets up beside me and looks over and notices that i am wearing A UofL hat..and then he guns it, and i saw his uk license plate. so i speed up to him..and by this point we are on the bridge going from louisville to indiana..and we both go. he gets he jump, but i actually hung a 1/2 car length back from him from 70 to 110. we both were taking the same off ramp, and at the light we both compliment each others car, and he told me that he was impressed with my "little 4 cyclinder". We then talked basketball for a minute and went on our way. All in all i was surprized that a s could hang w/ a c5.

I think he was refering to his S2000. If you look above his avatar it says that he is an owner. ofcourse I could be wrong aswell.

yes i am a owner...Why is it so hard to believe, shit happens. I never said i beat him and if you look at the stats they run low 13's, and we run high 13's

 

Also..about that talon, I owned a eclipse before my S, and its so easy to turn up the boost and whos going to know its not stock..You can make a easy manual boost controller and get a extra 40-50hp no problem. Just my 2 cents

 

actually "we" run low 14's..they run low 13's...i hate it when people take the best track times they hear.. and that all of a sudden becomes the average for what the cars run.. i figure you dont have much track experience.. because a seconds difference is a lot.... and true shit does happen but on a freeway run ls1's are surprisingly fast.. and will take your average, even modified, s2k from a go...

who are you to say i dont have much track experience? Last I checked you werent there. why would I pull this out of my ass? all the time cars you wouldnt expect are beating your big bad v8's. the fastest car in town is a dodge colt that runs 6.9 in the 1/8 mile..i bet you would think hes crazy too if u heard he beat a v8 huh...why dont you just become a little more open minded, and less "oh well road and track says thats impossible"
