rsx99boy: I had a similar experience with a C5, but mine was from a dead stop. He pulled about 1/2 to 3/4 car length ahead in 1st, but from 2nd thru 4th we were virtually even. I was right along side his rear qtr panel. Whether or not he was jocking me cannot be concluded. I honestly don't think he was, but who knows.

I definitely caught his attention ...

... now come on Jeff, lets get on Vortech and get the SC in!!!

If you raced a C5 from a stop and you were at his rear bumper thru 4th, the C5 was just playing with you , like how I play with integras and civics.....

Well driven C5 automatic would walk away from a well driven S2K from a stop or a roll from any speed.

The truth is what it is.


It's like the Vette owners saying they hung with a Viper. Either it's a lie or an exaggeration.
