Our launch was even so it's not that. We both left the line "around" 4000 rpm and bogged. As I said in my story, once vtec hit I started to pull away. And S2000's trap well into 4th gear.

I have heard that DC sports headers actually reduce HP.. a guy I know had the same set up on his 00 and did really poorly at the dyno.... I believe it....

Sounds like your friend needs to do some serious homework before moding his car anymore. The V-AFC sounds like the only decent mod he did. Ego gets you nowhere, glad you schooled him.
