Default GTI Kill

When I was headed towards the Honda-Tech meet this past weekend I had some tool in a GTI keep just flooring it in front of me for no reason whenever I even got close to him. Apparently this dood thought he was smoking me or something... well... traffic clogged up due to merging interstates and I thought I'd give him a little something to remember.

I saw he had no badging on the car but I figured it was a new GTI 1.8T from the blowoff valve. I put the car in third and was sitting at 5500 rpm when the lane opened up... I knew he was gonna nail it so from behind him I jumped over to the open lane to the far left and let the S do its thing.. he had the jump but his 1.5 car jump start wasn't quite enough as I reeled him in and passed him by the time I got half way through 4th. After that the guy wouldn't even get next to me when I slowed down the next couple miles.

Nice. I've got some smack-off vdub tech who has one of these saying he's going to school my S. Should be fun watching his chin hit the steering wheel in my rearview.

I know a couple guys with R32's and 1.8T's and they are decently quick... They are mid - high 13's in the 1/4 mile with down pipe, boost control, exhaust, suspension, etc... Good Kill!

Boosted cars are easier to make quicker.
