Uhm, actually I wasnt being cocky. I was pointing out to the fact that he said his RalliArt would do 160 which obviously it wont, and a stupid mark like that caused me to tell him the Evo would be more suited to roll with what I was in. Maybe you all missed that. Im also not a rich conceited asshole as I feel very fortunate to have what I do. Even if it isnt the fastest car on the road, I still love it. The Mr2 Turbo I had would blow the doors off of it AND beat Vettes, yes even the new ones too, it did 12.5 in the 1320. He asked a question I gave him an answer. Outside of that, Ill just dodge the unnecessary comments others made in this post as its irrelevant and stupid . I've never recalled myself calling any Porsche owners rich pricks on this board either, must of been yourself.

Also, if someone pulled beside me and said their z06 would do 180 to my 160... id say "Hell yea it will!". I state only the obvious, and you sir are probably a bigger asshole than what your accusing me of being.

Tangent, the Z06 runs out of gear before 180. Off-hand I believe 176 is the top speed.

Actually, at 6500rpm (redline) in 5th gear (top speed gear) a Z06 is at 171mph. 6600rpm is fuel cutoff, so it can officially go 173mph or so. With different gearing, it would definitely run at least to 180mph.

With my 4.10 gears in my '01 Coupe, 6th gear is my top speed gear and I will never forget going into 6th gear at just over 150mph and the car still pulling to about 170mph before running out of steam. The rpm's were around 4600rpm too. Nothing like cruising down the highway at 170mph at 4600rpm.

I can definately tell you I wouldnt pull up to a Z06 or Supra and tell him my s2000 can do 180mph as it would be a bunch of bullshit.
