I was out cruising, enjoying the beautiful weather today. I come to an intersection and there is a newer Thunderbird making a turn to the direction I'm going. Well he gets on it to show off a little. I follow him for a few blocks through town cause that's the why I'm going and he gets on it when he takes off from every stop sign. I personally don't like the new T-Birds, but oh well. Well we both turn onto a four lane road and again he gets on it ( the thing must have pretty good torque). He stays on it so I get on it too cause I'm tired of him thinking he's hot sh!t. Well, we run up to about 60 and come up on a newer Mustang convertible, it wasn't a Cobra and I don't think it was a GT either. I passed the T-Bird and ended up next to the Mustang with the T-Bird behind me. We are waiting for the light and both of them are creeping forward. I hadn't launched my car before but I had an itching to do it. So the light changes and I rev to a little over 6000 and let up the clutch as quick as I can. I got about a second or two of wheel spin while accelerating, then it dropped a little below VTEC and I was ahead of both cars and pulling away. I didn't pull real fast so they obviously were on it too. Shifted to 2nd and up through that and in to 3rd. I was pulling the whole time and then I left off and the T-Bird went past me. I ended up next to the T-Bird at the next light with the Mustang behind me. The people in the T-Bird seemed to have a mad look on their face and the people the the Mustang just seemed kinda shocked. The light changes and the T-Bird takes off and I just took off normal but ran through first gear to about 7K and then shifted to 2nd, there were lots of cars around now. I got to the next light and made my turn.

We all had our tops down and the Mustang and T-Bird had one passenger. I'm thinking that both cars were automatics but not sure. Still was fun and I didn't break anything.
