im not worried at all. havent seen them performing near what they claimed originally. 12s? yeah right. and yes with a passenger, with only 190 hp, it hurts.
you still shouldnt have to worry.
i think if you dig, and the guy is alone and can drive, it would be close. stock for stock. but after the lotus hops, thats all its got. youll go by hard.

Ive driven a few of them and they are awsome at low speeds, they pull like v8s at 5mph, they dont have the lag we have. thier topspeed is low though only 145 MAX. As far as the passenger goes, a girl in the car is an 8% increase in wight, a guy is around 10%.

*sigh* ....as I noted before- I do have track time in the Elise and have driven it extensively... and if you noticed- the e46 and Elise are similar in straight line performance... so depending on the driver- it can go either way.
But again- you're miracle car can beat M3's, Elises, Ferrari's, Top-Fuel Dragsters, God...
you name it, you can beat it. Don't even know why its worth debating with you... especially when "anything can happen on the street"
