I will gladly run the 350Z
I will probably get to drive a 350Z before many (remember, I got a friend who owns a honda and nissan dealer) so I'll gladly give first impressions of it. This same birdie is the one who told me the 350Z can't break 13's, and he's driven one already. (yes a production model)
I will gladly run a 350Z once it comes out. Stock for stock, I'd be glad to see what it can do. I'm willing to bet the S2000 will be faster than a 350Z. I may be going out on a limb and talking smack, but I will be glad to back it up and run a Z. And you can be damn sure I'll be dropping at 6500rpm and shifting at 9300rpm. Especially now that my car is fixed and I found that I was actually losing power. And I will be sure to video tape it and post it on this site. I have an OK place for hosting, but I doubt I'd have trouble finding a volunteer to host me vs a 350Z...

are you feeling ok??? I must have missed some of your other posts, but this one sure doesn't seem to have any real merit.?
I am sure the 350Z (like the S2000) really wasn't set up to be a drag racing car.....but.. with 280lb ft of torque, it should be somewhat enjoyable to drive.
Not to be a dick, but your post sounds just like a Camaro owners post about the S2000..... Do you keep a switchblade in your sock?

I dont think you can handle 280+ hp with 260lb of torque. I dont matter if you buddy owns a Honda dealer or Nissan. 280+ hp are 280+hp against 240 and that it. You perfectly know that I own an S2k but that doesnt mean I have to let go by a beast like that for such a price.

oh so 280hp will win cuz it has 40 more hp. really? nice logic. so is that why a mustang loses to an S2k? there are plenty of cars that have more hp than an S2000 yet are slower cars.
go ahead, put in another quarter and try again....

I cancelled my PRe order for my Z today...now I have to get my money back. Wasn't easy at first but they are gonna do it...whew! N E way, i might get a 350, maybe a S2K...I hope if I get an S2K that it is BETTER all round than the 350......I heard the interior to the 350 is cheap...the S2K is really nice. But my mind isn't made up.
