interesting encounter with a 308 gtb
me and my dad went to a car show, and we came across to a 1980 ferrari 308 gtb, (i love ferrari's) after oggleing at it and checking out the lines, the owner comes up and we start talking, turns out it's for sale so i get the guys number, then go on to continue looking at the other cars
when me and my dad were leaving, i got a chance to run him from a digg, he got me on the jump, then i start creeping, at the end of second i'm a little ahead and shift to third, he pulls a little, and i start creeping only to have to shut down because of another red light
after our trek on the interstate i stop at a gas staion because i had only one bar left, and he pulls up on side of us, he asks me if i done anything to my car i tell him intake and exhaust(v2 and skunk2 mega power), he said he was surprised i was able to keep up, and to be honest so am i

The first year fuel injected 308s were dog slow. If you had gotten a good launch, you would have taken at least a car length and ended even further ahead by the end of 2nd.
The US versions were not all that light either...they weigh about the same as the s2k.
The 328 would have been the first US model to be able to give the s2k a run for it's money.
