oh god, the baby thing.. wwwahhh. what a bunch of liberals. do you all put helmets on your kids too?
jeezus, if it werent for racing with kids, i would have never been who i am today. i have vivid memories, of my dad and his buddy taking me to the street races, and id be strapped into the back seat of a built maverick on slicks. we would do huge burnouts, and id sit there laughing in the tire smoke. LOL.
the launch always made me smile. its because of these experiences, that kids grow up, not only knowing how to drive, but they arent afraid of speed. where do you think all the solid racing drivers today came from. flamer parents who wouldnt allow them to go outside during the winter? no i didnt think so.
have a good weekend. and let your kids have fun. it makes them better people. dave

Call me a sucker, but I believe the guy. A bolt on z6 or y8 (probably a z6 though) EF will probably run a high 14 to low 15. You don't really know if it was tuned, and exactly what transmission he had.

Assuming he is a very high 14 second car, and you are a mid to low 14 second car, AND you only went to the top of 3rd (shutting down once you hit 4th) 3 cars sounds reasonable. You'd still have a whole other gear to wind through before you hit the quarter mark. So you put 3 cars (maybe more, it's hard to estimate on the street) in less then 1/4 mile.

ALSO, this is the street and anything is possible

Are you stock? What's your car trap in the quarter?

just to give my experience with hatches... my friend with a SOHC 91 hatch tore his motor down and did everything that you could imagine to it... upped compression, cams, port polish, tuned...etc. and he runs 13.9 at the track ...but thats with drag radials....

So it can be possible ....
Just my .02 cents

Hard to say, but I hope you do well too . I guess S2k drivers tend to run the whole range of times with the best in the 13.9's.

I don't have an S2k, BUT I can't seem to run better than consistant 13.9's at 103ish. People with my set-up seem to be able to run solid mid-low 13's. I'm no quarter mile junky though and just use the time as a reference

<----Not set-up for launching.
