What!! I'm offended. I absolutely DID answer his question. I raced a Pinto last week. I only beat him by half a car length but I think he had a CAI or something. That car was fast!

 

Don't you think its good to let all your fellow S2K owners know what the limits of their stock car are so that they don't get in over their head?

I for one would at least want to know what I can compete with and what can blow me away...I know things like the z06 can, however I didn't know the MR2 would lose to the S...

 

If you race even a Hyundai Accent on the street, you are getting in way over your head.
I think the gist of the types of responses in this thread reflect the fact that worrying about which car can or cannot beat the S is a simple matter of letting your testosterone level show. The sound of your chest pounding is deafening. I, for one, don't find myself pulling up next to another car and saying to myself, "Can I take him?"
Or are you talking about going to the track? Somehow, I don't think that is what you had in mind.

i mean this tread could turn into a disaster! (we all know what im talking about , right alex )
i mean u may have a chance agianst these cars in the street (were anything goes) but that doesnt mean that u can beat them(easily)

1 opossum (02 - walked away from a 20 mph roll)
2 skunks (1 01 & 1 02 - walk them by many car lenghts...FAST)
1 small grey squirrel (02 i think? - pretty close, drivers race...he would have had a better chance If I had my top down)
