I'm sure some feel differently, but I sort of feel that spraying is sort of cheating in a street situation. Its sort of like, the driver of the nos car can fool stock cars that are clearly faster into racing just to beat them. I'm sure most dont agree, but its my opinon that if you are going to race a modded car you pretty much know going into the race that the car you are racing is modded--but if they just have nos, there's no way of knowing.

I see nothing unfair about nitrous. From a purely objective standpoint, it's the most efficient way to make a car that you mostly use for transportation into a street racer. It's there only when you need it. Simple but effective.

I can't believe that someone wouldn't know that driving at those speeds with the top down is like having the brakes applied 25% of the time. Drag comes into play easily at half those speeds and it doesn't do anything good for the S2000 (or any vert for that matter).
No hating here, but my friend's 1.8T GTI with APR chip, exhaust and intake versus my S2k stock was pretty close to 100mph, then I'd start to walk away at higher speeds. The 1.8T turbo is small, very responsive and doesn't exhibit lag worth mentioning, however it does run out of steam at higher speeds. Since then, my car is equipped with a different ECU, intake, throttle body and exhaust and it's an easy win every time. My friend will be coming over my house to have his boost controller installed, so I'd imagine that it should be a fun run afterwards!
The 1.8T's have a lot of nice options to make quick and easy power upgrades. The S2K is no slouch either since we're making power naturally which many cars can't do without having boost or a major displacement advantage.
