Default Ls1 Encounter #2

I had my second ls1 encounter with my s2000 a few days ago. It was a red vert TA and the race was nothing spectacular. I pulled up behind him on the highway going around 80-85. Once a minivan moved over to the right lane he mashed it. I, being a good s2000 driver that I am, was ready for this with 4th gear and applied gas at the quickest possible instant. From 80-120, he did NOT pull an INCH. Nada, Nunca, Nothing. At 120 he stopped... Plenty of highway in front of him, but he pulled over and got off the highway. When I passed him on the left, he looked straight ahead ignoring me. Oh well, thats the second run I've had with a LS1 and did not get pulled on. It was obviously an auto.

Actually, I was probably going around ~85 mph or so when I took off. Trust me, 80 or below and I throw it down to third!
