I'm not gonna lie to you, the M3's are pretty quick. The only reason why I thought I had the chance is because he has the convertible and has SMG.

Going from a launch or from a low speed roll in vtec will give you better results then high speed rolls...

do m3s suck on the launch i would think they would launch way harder than the s2k

They do have a strong launch, but they have a lot of torque so a lot of times they sit there and spin for a little bit.

That M3 that slowed down next to me prolly WAS driving daddy's car but he looked to be in 20's so maybe? but then again...prolly was just enjoying the cruize. I would to! hahah

I keep up side by side or lose by half a car to my cousins e46 coupe 6speed... but he is not the greatest driver I don't think. I'm not sure though, I've never been in the car with him while he got into a race to see if he does anything wrong/bad.

No they don't...my M3 is probably the easiest car to launch that I've ever owned that's isn't AWD. An S2000 always has a pretty good chance against an M3 vert...they are noticably slower than the coupe.
