Slammed. Fat exhaust. Stickers. No wheel covers. Rice boy behind the wheel. Not fast enough...

Going north on the I-405 tonight, I'm cruising around 75, top down (testing my new windscreen thanks to Rick!), with my friend in the passanger seat. He tells me this riced out Maxima that just got on the freeway keeps looking at us. I look over, he punches and switches to the number 2 lane. I'm the in the fast lane and switch to the number 3 lane. It's on...

I was expecting to match speeds, but he just punched it instead... so he got a jump on me. I put her in 3rd seconds later and it was bye bye bye. By the time we were going 115, I couldn't make him out in the rear view (save his "blue" lights) so I shut her down. He catches up and proceeds to weave through traffic, but once we get to another open area, he won't pull up next to me! I was sad... at least a friendly wave or gesture. So I exit (since I missed my exit 2 miles before that ).

God I love this car...

HAHAHA good kill, Maxima has strong engine and decent low end torque. In 99' I had to get a car repaired and I had a rental. It was a new Maxima it only had 1,000 miles on it, smelled new looked great and had some pull down low on the torque curve.

I was coming home from a friends one nite driving the Maxima, nice long straight away going West onto the D bridge. A modded Del Sol was at the light, just the two of us and no other traffic. We went for it, The maxima has decent torque so it pulled on him for a moment, then it happened, he spanked the Maxima really bad pulled on it like I was going backwards.
